DeepCleaner ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed as a local device cleanup utility. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
Summary
DeepCleaner processes files on your device to scan and clean storage. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data with third parties. All scanning and deletion happens locally on your device.
Data We Access
Storage & Media (Required for core functionality)
To scan and clean your device, DeepCleaner may request:
- Storage access - to find cache, temporary files, logs, thumbnails, downloads, and empty folders
- Media access (photos/videos) - to identify old media files in the Media Cleaner feature
This access is used only to display scan results and delete items you explicitly select and confirm. We do not upload file contents to any server.
Usage statistics (Optional, Android system)
On Android 11+, the app may request PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS to improve app cache scanning. This data stays on your device.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identity information (name, email, phone)
- Location data
- Contacts, messages, or call logs
- Browsing history
- Analytics or advertising identifiers (no third-party analytics SDKs)
- File contents uploaded to external servers
DeepCleaner Pro & Google Play Billing
If you subscribe to DeepCleaner Pro, payment is processed entirely by Google Play. We receive only subscription status from Google (active, expired, or cancelled) to unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Data Retention
- Scan results - held in memory during your session; not persisted to external storage
- Preferences - theme and scan settings stored locally via Android DataStore on your device
- Clean history stats - last clean date and freed space stored locally on your device
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored app data.
Children's Privacy
DeepCleaner is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
All cleanup operations run locally. We recommend keeping your device updated and using official Google Play distribution.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
